The Hoopstar was inspired by the true story of a twelve-year-old girl who’s always had a love for basketball. It was where she shined the most. Brylane knew how to master plays and how to outthink her opponent on the court, but she struggled with another opponent off the court . . . Dyslexia. This entertaining story gives readers an enjoyable reading experience while also teaching them the importance of overcoming obstacles, building confidence, self-love, courage, and the value of hard work.  The book is available in softcover, hardcover, ebook, and audiobook formats.
